Junior Golf Tip of the Week
Alignment sticks are the most affordable and versatile training aids that you can purchase! Most players use them as alignment tools for the setup, but what most don’t realize, they can be used for all phases for your game. Pictured below is my student, Colton Johnson. Colton is not only learning the correct impact position for the swing but is doing a wonderful job in controlling the clubface. The picture on the left is during Colton’s first lesson. By using the alignment stick we were able to teach him the correct positions at impact. Now he has a good understanding of how to hit the ball solidly and consistently. Great job Colton!

Elite Student/Athletes In the News
​
Just recently I have had the honor of working with some elite players from Elon University. I first want to congratulate Coach Don Hill and his team for a remarkable fall season. Not only was the team competitive but they had one win and a second place finish out of five events. Congratulations!
Matt Doyle was named CAA golfer of the week! Matt had a career best third-place finish at the Grandover Collegiate.
Bronson Meyers birdied his last three holes to finish for a tie for fifth place at the Grandover Collegiate.
Juan Callejo Ropero posted rounds of 70-67-70 to a sixth-place finish at the Phoenix Invitational.
